About Nancy R. Fenn

Nancy R. Fenn has an impressive set of credentials in the healing arts. She has
devoted her life to the study of human nature. These are some of the things she
has done to prepare herself as a spiritual teacher, healer, personality type specialist
and intuitive counselor.
Nancy has a thorough understanding
of Jungian psychology which is the branch of psychology that first proposed
personality typing as a theory for personality development
Nancy has recommended Myers-Briggs
and Keirsey testing and worked with clients from the results of these tests
for over ten years; she has seen her clients experience success in healing,
increased self awareness and self esteem, improved personal relations, greater
confidence in career and increased enthusiasm for life, personal growth and
individuation as a result of the support she provides
-
Nancy has taken courses,
read widely and explored deeply in the fields of communication, psychology,
philosophy, history, evolution and personal development
-
Nancy is skilled at meditation,
healing, energywork, laying on of hands, symbolism and dreamwork, all important
tools in personal growth
-
Nancy treats every person and every
interaction individually and uniquely; she handles her clients personally
(there is no secretary or intermediary person who will be interacting with
you during this course ... Nancy reads everything personally and provides
personalized feedback)
Nancy is known for going
the extra mile to help her clients master the information she provides; Nancy
is not a "clock watcher" or someone who works a 50 minute "hour";
she entered this field because she loves people and you will experience this
as your begin to interact with her
-
Nancy is an infp personality
type introvert known as "the Healer"; her mission in life is to
heal herself and others
-
Nancy is a gifted intuitive
introvert; she tests a "10" in intuition while being near the center
in introversion/extroversion; Nancy uses her intuitive gifts to provide the
right material, support and information at the right time for your best development
Nancy has a BA degree in English literature
and two associates degrees in French and German
Nancy's passion in life is the healing
arts
-
Nancy is the mother of a 32 year old
daughter who lives near her in San Diego
-
- Nancy's beliefs include all religious approaches and exclude none. She is
a spiritual person who believes life is a great gift to us from God and our
gift back is what we make of it and of ourselves. Nancy meditates regularly,
communes with nature, enjoys solitude and silence and experiences great joy
in praising the Creator. Nancy sees the divine in every person and is a master
in bringing forth hidden talents and gifts. She often helps people discover
their mission in life. Nancy believes in progress and in the inherent goodness
of all people. She believes in evolution, self development and pushing the
edge of the Maslow pyramid (a hierarchy of needs which culminates in individuation
and spirituality). If you are not comfortable with a belief in progress and
human goodness, you will not be comfortable in this course or in Nancy's presence.
This is what Nancy believes about introversion and introverts:
introverts, although currently
in the minority (ratio of 3:1), may represent an evolutionary advantage; in
other words, some day the numbers may reverse because introversion provides
better tools for life in the 21st century (are we as a species evovling in
the direction of introversion?)
introverts are more numerous
as IQ, education and spirituality increase; among PhDs and Rhodes scholars,
the proportions are almost exactly reversed (one extrovert to three introverts)
-
many psychological approaches
do more damage than good for introverts; we need to understand ourselves through
the heart and soul of another introvert; we need to know what is "right"
about us, not what is "wrong" about us
Nancy does not judge a
person on the number of relationships they have; what a great personality
they have; how much money they make; how cool they dress; how often they get
out and mix it up and whether or not they can be the life of the party; introverts
are not extroverts who failed ... these things were never our intention in
the first place
-
true introversion is not
withdrawal from life; we are intensely engaged in life, taking it on our own
terms; our relationships are intense and meaningful; many of us care very
much about people but need to take them on our own terms
-
the easiest way to identify
introversion is whether or not you are drained by interacting with others;
if you are drained, you're an introvert
introverts are not mentally
ill; introverts are not schizoid personalities
-
introverted children have
so much stacked against them, Nancy hopes to raise consciousness about introversion
and insure a better childhood for today's children than many of us had; for
example, most introverted children are utterly exhausted by a typical school
day and need time alone, often with the door closed, when they get home in
the evening

work is based on studies by Carl Jung, a pyschologist who first proposed the
