Lisa Nowak's train left the tracks February 5, 2007. The former astronaut and heroine to a world full of kids and girls was arrested for stalking another woman. it involved a steamy obsessive love triangle. If you include the fact that Lisa herself was already married, it might be a love rectangle.
Lisa was arrested at Orlando International Airport for attempted kidnapping, battery, attempted vehicle burglary with battery, and destruction of evidence.
Lisa apparently drove 1,000 miles to get to Florida and meet her target, Colleen Shipman, at the airport. Lisa donned a black wig and hooded tan trench coat, carried a BB gun, knife, drilling hammer, black gloves, rubber tubing, plastic garbage bags and $585 in cash. She slapped the window of Colleen's car and sprayed her with pepper spray, then started crying. Colleen called the cops.
The bizarre and now disputed aspect of the story is that Lisa may have worn nappies or diapers on her drive to avoid stopping for restrooms.
The reason I raised the question -- Did she wear nappies? -- as a teaser on the front page was to explain some of the things astrology can and can't do. There is no way an astrologer could answer the question, "Did Lisa Nowak wear nappies or diapers during her drive?" using astrology. Astrology can't predict whether or not your boyfriend is right for you or which job you should take. It can answer what it would be like if you did but not whether you "should". To continue with the story, Lisa was stalking Colleen due to a mutual interest in fellow astronaut William Oefelein with whom she described having had for the past two years "more than a working relationship but less than a romantic relationship."
The story gets stranger. Later a judge unsealed some documents describing other items in Lisa's car which included a floppy disk with photographs and drawings of an unidentified partially dressed woman and bondage scenes.

NASA Flight Surgeon Jonathan Clark was quoted as saying, "There has been a lot of marital infidelity in the astronaut corps [and] a huge number of divorces, even in these very educated and talented folks. But you have to wonder what stresses folks are under in that environment." Specifically about Nowak, he said, "The family separation, and the pedestals astronauts are often put on have the potential to take someone as gifted and talented and fundamentally nice as Lisa Nowak and turn her into someone that is really not her."
Let's look at Lisa's chart. We can't answer whether she was wearing nappies using astrology but we can look for signs of a stalker, obsession/compulsion, attraction to bondage and undue stressers.
Unfortunately, we don't have Lisa's birthtime. This chart is for 12 noon.
Lisa Nowak has Moon square Uranus and Pluto indicating a highly volatile (explosive) emotional nature. In the signs Virgo and Sagittarius, it's not hard to believe she was unfaithful at least once in her marriage.
Lisa also has a tight, tense Grand Cross in fixed signs:
Sun in Taurus squares
Mars in Leo which squares
Neptune in Scorpio which squares
Saturn in Aquarius.
Grsnd Crosses lead to "big" lives. This grouping in fixed signs indicates the possibility of extreme reactions to frustrated desires including pent up sexual energies for which Mars/Saturn is well known. To further exacerbate, at the time of this incident, Saturn and Neptune were opposing each other across Lisa's Saturn/Mars opposition. Lisa has Saturn and Neptune in square natally. We could group these together under a humorous but horrible heading, "Time for a Reality Check". Costumes fit Saturn/Neptune combined with Leo, especially dressing up for sex related roles. The whole Saturn/Neptune flavor here is "very, very confused".
Lisa's chart shows extreme wilfulness, courage and determination, qualities which helped her get where she got. Astronauts do daring things,not just in the sky.
Lisa's South Moon Node in Capricorn together with the afflication of a fixed Grand Cross could be a symbol for bondage. In addition, the combo Saturn/Neptune is sometimes a flag for sado-masochism.
