This month there are some exciting things happening in the skies. There are two eclipses, the Harmonic Concordance you've been hearing so much about (the Star of David in the sky) and the planet Uranus goes direct.

IN GENERAL, LOOK FOR ACTIVITIES SUCH AS YOU FOUND WITH THE HARMONIC CONVERGENCE OF 1987. November 8 Lunar Eclipse - the Lunar Eclipse is in Taurus
On November 8, there will be a Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio's opposite sign, Taurus. A Lunar Eclipse is a Full Moon which contacts the Lunar Nodes, two points in the sky which mark destiny.
This eclipse will be taking place in the sign of Taurus. The lunar nodes are in Scorpio and Taurus. The old pattern on this polarity is to invest in someone more powerful than you in the hopes they will take care of you. Sometimes this works, but this is one of the times it won't work. Check in on your investments - time, energy, money, etc. and make sure you are supporting your own goals, not someone else's.
Watch your use of the eagle/scorpion Scorpio energy. We all have it somewhere in our chart. Do you recoil when rejected and prepare to strike? Are your survival reactors tuned a little too high? Not everything in life is a matter of life or death.
Two very violent and unforgiving cultures are the Mafia and some of the Arabic world. I once saw a fight break out at the Living Room here in San Diego, a comfortable gathering place for college students, because the kid on duty had "insulted" an Arab patron by letting someone take his chair while he was ordering. Apparently this man's "honor" became a matter of life and death. He refused to accept an apology from the kid on duty and even went so far as to threaten a lawsuit over a ridiculous and harmless matter.
In the Mafia, it is considered a sin to forget anything. Vengeance is considered the proper response to slights and hurts.
Let's be eagles and rise above all of this. The scorpion stings itself rather than show vulnerability or suffer presumed indignity. Keeping score is an intensely painful approach to life and costly in terms of moments of true happiness and fulfillment. At some point on the way toward enlightenment, every Scorpio realizes that it is themselves they are hurting, more than anyone else and sometimes instead of anyone else. Consider those unfortunate people who kill loved ones in moments of passion, only to suffer a lifetime of guilt, remorse and pain. No punishment on earth could be worse than the hell they inhabit inwardly.
A character in film who portrayed this energy is Robert de Niro in The Mission. This is from Roger Evert's review:
"The central figure in the movie is Mendoza (Robert De Niro).... Early in the film, he is a slave trader, a man of the flesh. But after he kills his brother in a flash of anger, he yearns for redemption, and he gets it from the missionaries who assign him an agonizing penance: He must climb a cliff near a steep waterfall, dragging behind him a net filled with a heavy weight of armor. Again and again, De Niro strives to scale the dangerous height, until finally all of the anger and sin is drained from him and he becomes a missionary at a settlement run by Gabriel (Jeremy Irons)."
Some people don't realize this but Scorpio is a water sign. They feel things acutely. They try to hide this because they think they will be too vulnerable if someone else knows how much they care. Rarely do Scorpios reveal the depth of their feelings. They would sometimes quite literally rather die than show their feelings.
This is the reasoning ... Scorpios have an overdeveloped sense of survival, as if it is their physical body that will be harmed rather than their emotional body when they are rejected or made vulnerable in some other way. They usually relate the two unconsciously.
For this reason, a Scorpio reaction to a sense of loss of control is often swift and extreme, sometimes out of proportion to the threat. Have you ever seen someone try to kill a fly with a hammer or open a bottle of coke with a baseball bat?
The healing
edge for Scorpio is to break out of the shell and share oneself with compassion.
An
actor who portrayed this energy lately was Robin Williams in the role
of psychotherapist Sean McGuire in Good Will Hunting (1997). The
young boy insulted McGuire's pain over the death of his wife and McGuire
took the high road, remaining powerfully vulnerable and sharing his feelings
with his young patient. Williams was excellent in this role as a psychotherapist.
Under this eclipse, practice being the eagle. Soar above all the pain and retribution to a place of peace.

How
to use a Lunar Eclipse
In general these are the things to do under a lunar eclipse. Lunar eclipses
are times of letting go, of releasing. Think of things in your life that
you would like to bring to a close.
Sit still and meditate about a particular issue on which you want closure. For example, suppose you would like to end a relationship and finally "get over" the person who has been haunting you for a number of years. Pick an item or object that personifies this person and lovingly bury the object with ritual respect or dissolve it by throwing it into water if possible (we don't pollute the ocean, rivers, etc.).
Suppose I am trying to get over Ron, my scuba diving instructor. To personify him, I pick a peach pit because he had such peaches and cream skin and used to blush very beautifully (I made him blush!). After meditating on a loving closure I could bury the peach pit in my backyard or throw it into the creek where it will wash away or be eaten later by birds. As I do so, I repeat to myself my desire to lovingly lay this relationship and all that it represents to rest.
You can also do this with weight, smoking, resistance to career goals, unfinished projects and cluttered garages. There is no limit to the things you can release under a lunar eclipse if you do it symbolically in a meaningful ritual.
November 8 and 9 Uranus goes Direct - sudden release of energy going back to an abrupt halt which took place in your life on or about June 7, 2003. Think back to what was going on in your life at that time ... or look at your daytimer. Please remember to keep good, quick little notes in your daytimer so you can have something to refer back to when I give you these dates.
November 23 Solar Eclipse - The Solar Eclipse is in Sagittarius. It's not uncommon to have two eclipses in one month, they come in pairs. Something sudden and surprising or enlightening may happen in your life around the time of this Eclipse. If you've been sound asleep and it's high time you got up and got to school, Jupiter is going to pull the covers off!
Be open, be flexible, and make room for new ways of thinking and perceiving the world around you. And understand that change is a gradual process. Sagittarius is wonderful in so many ways, but wants to go straight from A to Z without doing B, C, and D. So make some wishes, and do the work it takes in your life to make it true.
How
to use a Solar Eclipse
Solar eclipses are a time of planting seeds, making wishes and seeing
visions. As you begin to pray or meditate, please keep a balance of both.
Pray for what you want. Then wait, meditate, listen to what God wants
from you, through you, for you. Ideally your list will be a blend of these
energies.
Since this eclipse is in Sagittarius, it may involve a change in beliefs, an expanding consciousness or a desire for a more expanded life.
Write your dreams down on a sheet of paper. For example:

3. a long and healthy life for my pet cat
4. peace with my mother-in-law
5. a promotion at work

NOW ... expand that list to 100 things, even if it's hard to think of 90 more things.
After
you're finished, bury the letter or hide it somewhere that no one will
see it. One year from the day that you do this, you can open the letter
and see what has happened. This teaches us, also, to make wise wishes.

SunSign forecast for November - please click your sign to read about the month ahead
Mars is now
on course to reach your sign on 16 December, a date when you come into
your fiery own. During October you were challenged to find the middle
ground in a partnership while making it clear where you sand.
Later in the month Saturn comes to a halt, before turning back the way
it's come. You'll be obliged to face up to your domestic responsibilities
and may have to shell out for repairs to your home. Do what you have to
do, then you'll have no regrets later.
Around the same time Uranus slowly begin moving forwards again on the
8th in your 5th house. Sudden surprises where children are concerned.
Love affairs may turn into friendships or vice versa. Something could
also come out of the closet regarding a love affair from the past or even
unknown children.
Your beliefs continue to change as they have been changing dramatically over the past several years. Later this month you may be able to begin writing or speaking about some of your new approaches to reality.
This continues to be an excellent time to work on your health and daily
routines. Almost any new regimen would succeed beautifully? Have you tried
the Atkins diet? Would you like to start walking every day? Is it time
to join a gym?
Taurus
A powerful
Full Moon/lunar eclipse in your sign on the 8th and 9th of November dominates
the final two months of the year. At the same time, that rebel Uranus
starts moving forward again, giving you dramatic new ideas about yourself.
Getting anything new, even new ideas about yourself, isn't comfortable
for Taurus, but please remember than even you needs to change every now
and then.
Perhaps you have learned recently that you are more than your possessions, more than the sum total of what you own …. There is potential for a major breakthrough in your life right now. Meanwhile Jupiter brings promises of romance especially around November 20th.
December is going to be a great time to take a postponed trip, begin studying
something of great interest, take your business abroad or expand your
horizons in other ways, so rest up and maybe catch the right companion
for all of the above.
Gemini
Great activity
in the home and on the career front. Mars in the career area is bringing
great advancement, initiative and motivation, coupled with a desire to
expand and improve the home base. Green light on both! If any opportunities
present themselves on the 20th, you may take great leaps into the future
by following your intuition.
The beginning of November marks a time of intense mental activity, when
you may pick up some threads from the first half of the year ... travel,
writing, studying, law?.
The emphasis later this month is on partnerships. The solar eclipse on
the 23rd could bring a turning point in a relationship, as the meaning
of the relationship in your life becomes clear. You have ethical lessons
to learn and at this time the truth and the whole truth is imperative.
In December you'll be forced to come to terms with your finances. Why
not start now?
Cancer
Those of
you with early July birthdays will be only too aware of the presence of
Saturn in your sign, especially around the 25th of last month, when it
came to a standstill and reversed direction. This
month and next you'll find an abundance of energy to further your goals.
There were more added responsibilities last month or perhaps a push in
your career area. Nonetheless, these can lead to long awaited dreams come
true.
Leo
There are
some surprises for you in store these last two months of the year. Leos
have been on a radical path lately. Whatever it is you've come to believe
in is surfacing and you will fight tooth and nail for your right to pursue
it.
Many of you made life affirming decisions around the 25th of October -
creating stronger boundaries in relationships or pushing off on new adventures.
This is a trend, not a ripple in the stream.
The Full Moon and lunar eclipse on the 8th and 9th of November could mark
a turning point in your career. Since Jupiter, the Lord of Good Fortune
and Opportunity is involved, there's one thing about Jupiter. He won't
meet you more than half way so be looking for those opportunities and
seize them! Good news in finances coming as well. Leos hate scrimping
and perhaps those days are over for awhile after the end of November.
December is full speed ahead. Gets your ducks in a row this month, as
they say, and be ready for lift off!
Virgo
Back in August
Jupiter, the Lord of Blessings, entered your sign and will stay there
for the next year. Look for the brass ring and grab it! Jupiter is the
one planet that won't meet you more than halfway. You have to see the
opportunity to take advantage of it, so get your eyes wide open and be
expecting great things so you'll recognize them when they arrive! If you'd

This is a time to expand in career and relationships. It should be a time
of relative ease financially as well. Many of you will find new partnerships
by the end of the year. The solar eclipse on the 23rd brings news clarity
about your true life path.
Libra
Many of your
were sorely tested on the 25th of October regarding career or relationship.
Hopefully you passed the test and are incorporating change and progress
in these areas at this time. There are more challenges to come. Look back
about seven years to see which chickens are coming home to roost. If in
doubt, it's a very good time to get a reading.
On November 9th, you may wonder about someone's permanence in your life.
Too soon to tell! You may also feel restless about your career. Ditto.
Things probably won't straighten out until most of December is over.
A relationship that seems exciting and diversionary right now, may require a serious commitment to move forward.
Scorpio
The last
two months of this year could be as dramatic as a Verdi Opera, intense
enough even for you, Scorpio! Fun isn't a word Scorpios toss around much,
but you will certainly have your share of intensity and passion.
Towards the middle of November, you may find yourself caught up in a social
whirl with new career paths opening as well.
You can expect a significant breakthrough in a relationship with the Full
Moon and eclipse on the 8th and 9th of November.
Sagittarius
Restless
and adventuresome Sag, this is a great time for you, though relatives
and others may be getting on your nerves as you seek expanded horizons.
Many new possibilities are opening up on the job front, perhaps more travel
and chances to see the world. Also a great time to take up the serious
pursuit of something you've been cooling your heels on for awhile. On
20 November, you should feel a sudden burst of energy which takes you
sailing through the end of the year.
The solar eclipse in your own sign on November 23 brings opportunities
for new beginnings in romance and life. You have the opportunity to begin
a major new cycle in your life. Read the section about the solar eclipse
carefully and make a good list.
Capricorn
Hmmm, as
the Quakers would say, time to take stock in relationships. Saturn has
entered your opposite side and the pros and cons of the people you share
your life with are adding up … or are they? Well, that's the task
at hand for the next couple of years so might as well get started.
Jupiter is opening the way for higher understanding at this time. It may
come from travel or from new perspectives in things you are learning or
teaching.
At the end of November the planets begin shifting into your sign, starting
with Venus, which will make you Flavor of the Week for the next three
weeks or so. December brings some slow downs and glitches, so be cautious
in making your holiday plans this year. Be conservative and allow extra
time for plane connections or Plan B, should Plan A fall through.
Aquarius
Uranus is
back in your sign temporarily, allowing you to clean up some last minute
details before blast off! As Neptune also starts moving forward in your
sign, follow your intuition more than cold logic to win.
The Full Moon and eclipse on the 8th and 9th of November bring clarity
regarding career and clears up some of the mystery since the 25th of October.
For some of you, this time will be one of major shifting.
Pisces
There are
some real energized and easy going times ahead during November as Mars
and Jupiter team up to bring you the very best.
From early November the emphasis shifts to your career. With Venus at
the top of your solar chart for almost the whole of the month, you stand
to gain professionally; while Pluto continues to exert pressure for change
in this area of your life.
