Are There 13 Zodiac Signs?

The  Minnesota Planetarium Society has announced the finding of a shift on the earth's axis causing the need for a new zodiac sign Orphiuchus, the snake-holder.

There is nothing new about this theory and no reason to invent a new zodiac sign.  Astrologers have known about this shift, called the Precession of the Equinoxes in astronomy, for a hundred years and take it into account in our calculations.

The constellations are very, very slowly moving backwards. This is most evident when we look at the Fixed Stars. None of them are in the same sign they were in in Babylonian times but that is no reason to change your sign.

Rest assured, once an Aries, always an Aries. And, sorry, no one is an Ophiuchus.
