The Moon goes around the chart once in a month.

The Sun goes around the chart once in a year.
Attune to the Sun: I am the Sun, the All-Father, the Source and the very heartbeat of the universe. Without me, there is no life. Know me well, for you cannot live without me
Mercury and Venus take between 1 year and 18 months. Venus can't get further than 45 degrees from the Sun.
Attune to Mercury: I am Mercury, Messenger of the Gods. I am your Guide to the Underworld and the Quicksilver Child of the Wind. When you sleep, I am awake and when you are awake, I have vanished. I am Thin Air. I am the Magician's Wand. And when you need me the most, I am nothing at all.

Mars orbits the chart every year 20 months.

Jupiter orbits the chart once every 12 years and spends roughly 2 years in each house.

Saturn orbits the entire chart every 29-1/2 years and spends approximately 18 months in each house. For this reason there is an esoteric connection between Saturn and the progressed Moon.
Attune to Saturn: I am Saturn, Father Time and Watcher on the Threshold. You must gain my permission to pass further into the mysteries of life and I am a Stern Taskmaster. There is no way around me.
Uranus orbits the entire chart every 84 years and spends approximately 2 years in each house.
Attune to Uranus: I am Uranus, the Great Awakerner. I am the Grandson of Chaos and the IAM of the Hurricane Winds of Change. I will tear your hair and pull the rug out from under you. I am absolutely indiscriminate in my vivid longing for reality.
Neptune orbits the entire chart every 164 years and spends approximately 13 years in each house.
Attune to Neptune: I am Neptune, the vast Ocean, the All-Nothing. I am the All-Forgiving and All-Dissolving Mother's Womb. You will never know me for you cannot separate from me to know me. I promise you everything and you know that I never keep my promises but you forget this.
Pluto orbits the entire chart every 248 years and spend roughly 3 years in each house but its orbit is extremely erratic and this may vary the time it spends in a house greatly!
Attune to Pluto: I am the God for whom there are no altars, no prayers and no supplications. It is not possible to approach me. I will not be appeased. Your soul is mine. Bow to my will but do not know me. IAM one of the Faces of God.
