Every time you want to do something, you have to stop and think it out.
It will always involve getting other to buy into it.
Then it means getting just the right others.

 

Saturn in Libra
Many of you love to be alone (in your head) but are always in a relationship.
Many of you have learned the hard way to look for inner beauty not outer.
Many of you, though quite intelligent, are terrible judges of character.
Some of you have unwittingly dated or even married borderlines personalities.
Many of you have been conned.
Many of you had an attractive parent who convinced you you were not attractive.

Many of you fell for the "trappings" of love, for example a mooshy Valentine ...
only to find out he's talking on the phone to another woman

Sooo many of you men have been in LOVE TRIRIANGLES.

And then there's a little thing called integrity.
Some of you are such "crowd pleasers" if all your friends
got together in the same room with you,
you wouldn't know who you were.

INTEGRITY is a very big issue -- some of you don't even have a clue.

And then there's the thing about equilibrium, justification, justice, equity,
idealistic Ivory Towers and getting it straight!

If you have Saturn in Libra you can be sure it's a very karmic lifetime.
Your fate gets very heavy each time you make the same mistake over again.

• you owe a lot to a lot of people from past lives and they keep showing up
• every time you do a song and dance in front of a new person, you lose points because you're not an entertainer, you're a human being .... on an important journey
• every time you focus on the outside rather than the inside, you suffer
• you can never compare yourself to another without pain
• you can never wonder what other people think of you without losing ground
• you've gotta stop talking behind everyone's back -- say it that moment to their face or forget it
• love triangles or Bermuda triangles?

• Leave the deep people alone
• quit calling it diplomacy when you know it's flattery and deception
• don't ever EVER say you'll do something and then back out -- no excuses -- this is the critical turning point for developing integrity
• you can't ever blame someone else for your not doing something

This is the #! issue for this group ... who am I? If you are a people pleaser, placatory or confrontation avoider, these issues may come home to roost. If you copy or compete with others, expect to be pulled up short.

RESENTMENT
What's the sign with the worst temper? Taurus. Second? Libra. Funny that they are both Venus ruled. Saturn in Libra lets things build (smiling while someone steps on your feet) until there is an outpouring of resentment: "You did this and then you did that and another thing and another and remember ten years ago when you ...." If this sort of outpouring has been a habit of yours , it may cost you a relationship now as it is time to learn new ways to handle natural aggression. Roger Federer, top tennis player of all time who has Saturn in Libra, had to learn to handle his temper as a boy before his father would let him become a competitor.

BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING A RELATIONSHIP YOU ARE WILLING TO STAY IN
Many of you, and especially the Boomer generation, have a bad habit of pretense about your relationship. It begins with projecting too much so that the partner is idealized almost beyond recognition, Hearing you talk, the rest of us think, "Nobody's THAT great!" Then you proceed to try and become the Perfect Partner. It gets to where you can be one step removed from reality, looking at life through a glass window. It's a question of too high ideals. Try getting down out of your ivory tower and risk being real. It will be a big relief.

If you become willing to be yourself, deal with another well meaning but flawed individual, and confront problems as they arise, you will get what you really want, real love.

After all, your generation (boomers) invented the Soul Mate. Tragically, Christopher Reeve, with Saturn in Libra, created a nightmare version of interdependency after a horseback riding accident left him paralyzed from the waist down and completely dependent on his wife and others for his personal care ... too much together-ness?

The Indecision Issue - Try Strategy Instead
	If you are plagued with indecision, a negative Libra trait, go to the positive Libra trait of strategy instead. For example, faced with a decision of whether or not to buy the red socks, decide first that you are going to develop a winning strategy about decision making! The Supreme Allied Commander of World War II was quintessential Libra Dwight D. Eisenhower. Tony Blair is an example of Saturn in Libra who wears the velvet glove over an iron fist. The truth is you often have to fight for peace. Most historians would agree that the reason we have avoided all out war for more than fifty years is because of the atom bomb.
At-onement
	Paramahansa Yogananda talks about another kind of harmonic ideal, at-onement.
Platonic Ideals
	If you remember from your first philosophy class, Plato was the Greek philosopher who described a shadowy world of ideal forms, prototypes that foreshadowed the manifestation of things in the physical world. Saturn in Libra is a consummate conceptualizer once this faculty is disassociated from ivory tower thinking.
The Ivory Tower Issue
	Aaahhhh, the ivory tower issue. Churchill said it well when he said Democracy was the worst kind of government except for every other kind. All the things we suffer at the hands of governmental bureaucrats and politicians are the result of dealing with the realities of organized life. This is true in every area of our lives but it is a real blind spot for Saturn in Libra. Saturn in Libra must learn to come to terms with the less than perfect mother, lover, government and creative project. No matter how good something is in theory, test it out in real world. If in doubt, grab your nearest Taurus or Cappie and ask their opinion.
Projection
	There was a Greek myth called "Pygmalion" which became a musical called "My Fair Lady" which every good Saturn in Libra should see. A sculpture projects perfect beauty and eventual breathes life into his statue so that he has the perfect woman. It wouldn't be a myth if we didn't t try to do it! Saturn in Libra needs to stay in touch with flesh and blood people and avoid those who would let you mold them so assiduously!
The Cult of Beauty
There is one near fatal flaw for everyone with Saturn in Libra and that is something you have probably gathered already if you've been reading this page in it entirety. Saturn in Libra is a sucker for good looks and the aesthetic of beauty. Not only are many of them exceptionally attractive themselves, they seek it in others sometimes at the expense of good judgment. Prince William, Beyonce Knowles, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Alba and Isabella Huppert all have Saturn in Libra.
